Designed by: Rachel Bishop
Here Rachel’s touching design incorporates the gently swaying shoots of corn among rows of heralding poppies, all underneath a mellow, setting sun and the flutter of butterfly wings. This plaque, aptly named after “Flanders Field”, the poem that inspired the use of poppies as a remembrance symbol, offers a small token of our reverence to the distant, but never forgotten meadows where so many brave men fell. This is part of the “Collection of Remembrance”.
